I have owned this bike since 1989 and as far as I know, I am just the 2nd owner. This bike has had a new/used lower end put in it in the mid 90's as I am not a mechanic and according to the one I took it to, I failed to correctly reinstall the seals after an oil change. Needless to say, that was the last work I personally did on the bike. Aside from the lower end, I went in for new fork seals about 2 years ago, and the right slider would not come off, so, I had to find replacement sliders, from Re-psycle, that could be put on after the right one was removed and not reinstalled. I still have the silver ones that were original, but the right one was the reason I had to go with the set of black sliders. After the lower end was installed, the odometer and trip meter failed to function, this never bothered me but there is no accurate way of knowing how many miles are in the bike. It used to be my only mode of transport when I first moved to Las Vegas, now, it sadly collects dust as I rarely ride it. The side bags are OK but the left one has no latches on it, so it is held closed by the bungee cord, at one point I thought I had new latches to put on it, but I can't find them now, an easy fix if you'd like. The seat is original, no tears, the mufflers are original, the fairing is original, but in need of a new windshield, this one is oxidized, but still functional as a wind screen if you look over it, lots of good rubber left on the tires, steering is a bit tight, may need some bearings or just someone that can figure out the tightness. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. You may come to Las Vegas and get it, have it shipped, or I will be in the great Northwest at the end of may, if you would like me to trailer it up, you cover the cost of the trailer and some fuel. This bile is being sold as is, with all its imperfections from years of use, it is still a good looking and fun to ride bike. There are some small chip outs of paint, but no giant scratches or obvious paint problems.
