Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Here is a complete, nearly original 1969 Ford Bronco Project. Being that this is a 41 year old truck it does need some work, but these trucks are getting harder to find. This one is an inline six 170/3-spd manual. This truck sat since the late 80s. Originally I planned to use it for a trail rig, tagged and inspected it, and then drove it around for about a month. The head lights, tail lights, turn signals work fine as do the brakes. However little issues have now parked it and as I already have a newer 4wd vehicle to get me through the winters I have decided to let this one go. This Bronco was originally from the high desert of Cheyenne Wyoming and therefore offers a good solid body. As such the rust is minimal, yet it does have some of the typical Bronco rust, ie. inner fenderwells, and the seam on the front floorboards. The hood has a dent/cut from where at a previous time a fan blade must have come off. There is surface rust where paint has peeled, however no major issues and no other known body damage. The front windshield is cracked and needs replaced, also the drivers window does not roll down. I believe the drivers window is out of it’s track. Overall it is in really decent shape, yet the paint is chalky, and the undersides of the hood and engine compartment are flaking. The 170 cube straight six starts and runs, however it could use some carb work and the fuel pump has started to leak. The muffler came off as I was driving it last fall, it will need to be replaced. The transmission has a floor shifter and works well. Transfer case is the Dana 20 with a PTO shaft. The 4 wheel drive works well in high and low range. The rear end is a 9 inch 4.11 gears and Posi-traction (original). The original dana 30 resides up front. This truck came factory equipped with the auxiliary gas tank. I have a clear Colorado title in my name. The Bronco is in my garage if anyone wants to come and inspect. Or I could take more detailed pics to send if you want.
