Up for auction is my 1954 Chevrolet 5-Window Fiberglass Project Truck - I have owned this truck for several years with the intent of creating a street rod from it - I am currently in the middle of several other project vehicles & realize that I may not have time to ever get to this one - The truck is advertised as a 1954 because of the one-piece tilt front end - The rest of the components can be used on any project from 1947 through 1955 1st Series Chevy Pickups - I have completely assembled the truck on a home-made wood jig for storage & this is the way it is currently stored to ensure that the integrity of all of the panels remain intact - The individual components are as follows ............... - Complete 1947 through 1955 1st series Chevy 5-Window Cab- Complete Dash Piece- Drivers & Passenger Complete Door Shells for 1947 through 1955 1st series- Complete One-Piece Tilt Front End Piece with hinges- Left & Right Bed Sides- Tailgate piece- Left & Right Rear Fenders for 1947 through 1955 1st series- Left & Right Ribbed Running Boards for 1947 through 1955 1st series- Left & Right Splash Pan for 1947 through 1955 1st series **More pictures available upon request ============================================================== As you can see from the pictures, this truck is in perfect condition & the fiberglass is virtually flawless - As assembled, the body lines are just about perfect & it would take very little effort to get the entire truck ready for paint - I do not have to tell anyone that has had to deal with a rusty truck project the benefit of never having to worry about rust again - I cannot tell you who the manufacturer is, but I can assure you the fiberglass is heavy duty, substantial & flawless - I did not purchase the project myself until I had if looked over by a fiberglass & body man in my area - As I said, this was going to be my project truck & I do not cut corners - This truck has a 116" wheel base (standard for this model in the 1/2 ton pickup) - I took an actual measurement on both sides to confirm - I have recently viewed all of these components on the US Body web site at a total price of approximately of $12,000.00 and, all of these components purchased in steel would definitely exceed that price - Feel free to ask any questions that you might have & good luck bidding **reserve price has been set @ $2,800.00
