1968 Mustang fastback project (over $55,000 invested) that is about 95% complete. 351 Windsor stroked to 427cid, dyno'd at 517.48hp and 554.29lb/ft torque. Complete roller with Edelbrock Victor Jr. aluminum heads (ported and polished), Edelbrock Super Victor intake, Speed Demon 850cfm carb, MSD ignition, 7 qt. oil pan, March aluminum pulleys, shorty headers (ceramic coated), high torque mini starter, 1 wire polished alternator, high flow water pump, and stainless braided line with Aeroquip aluminum fittings throughout. Runs on pump gas. Custom built chassis with Mustang II front end. A-arm front suspension with adjustable QA1 coil-over shocks, and rack and pinion steering. Competition Engineering 4 link rear suspension with Competition Engineering adjustable coil overs. Custom narrowed Ford 9" rear end with Moser 35 spline axles. Front tires are 17x8 BF Goodrich G-force radials, and rear tires are 17x10.5 BF Goodrich G-Force radials. Fresh rebuilt C-4 transmission with heavy clutches, shift kit, B&M trans cooler, and a 2200 stall. Griffin 2 row aluminum radiator with polished fan shroud. 4 wheel disc brakes with drilled front rotors and braided brake lines. 2-1/2" mandrel bent exhaust with stainless Flowmaster mufflers. Painless wiring and an Optima red top in an aluminum battery tray(in trunk). Custom aluminum drive shaft. 20 gallon fuel cell in trunk. Show quality paint job (base/clear) on total restoration. Custom built dash with Auto Meter carbon fiber gauges (tach, speedo, oil psi., alternator, water temp). Leather racing seats. Custom wood steering wheel with machined 6-shooter center cap. Aluminum tilt steering column. B&M Hammer shifter. Billet aluminum grill. LED lights (rear). Car is about 95% complete, but needs windshield and rear glass, bumpers, and interior finished (carpet, headliner, rear seat recovered, and door panels). It is very fast, as you can imagine, and drives equally well. Alot of custom machine work has gone into this car, with a 6-shooter theme throughout (steering wheel, a-arms, gas cap, wheels etc. see pics). Hundreds of additional pics available upon request.
