Here it is! An original !967 V8 RS Camaro. It’s a restoration project that stalled out for the usual reasons (No time, No money, No ambition). The quarters and wheelhouses have been professionally replaced. The doors are original GM. They have virtually no rust inside. I bought the car 2 years ago with the intention of finishing it, but the barn where it’s been stored is being redone and I need to get it out. The VIN tag decodes as follows- 1 = Chevrolet 2 = Camaro 4 = 8 cylinder engine 37 = coupe body 7 = 1967 model year N = Norwood, OH assembly plant 164348 = vehicle serial number sequence The cowl tag decodes as follows- 12E = Built the 5th week of December 1967 67-12437 = Standard Interior Coupe NOR = Built in Norwood, Ohio 760 = Standard Black Bucket Seats Z = (A50) Strato bucket Seats (without headrests) L-2 = Lower Color is Tahoe Turquoise and the Vinyl Top Color is Black E = Interior Paint is Black Options: 2L = (M20) 4-speed floor shifter 2G = (D55) Console Front Compartment 3L = (Z22) Rally Sport Package 4P = (L48) SS 350 or (L30) 327-275 HP 5Y = (A39) Belts All Deluxe The front-end sheet metal is included, except for the fender extensions. The windshield and rear glass are missing. The door glass is missing, but the window mechanism is included. The differential is an open 10-bolt. The frame rails are good. The driver’s side floor pan needs to be replaced. The trunk pan needs some patch work, as well as the shock tower. Most of the front suspension is new.
