I purchased this truck in the summer of last year and upgraded the engine with a new EGR Cooler as recommended by Bill Hewitt. He owns Powerstroke Specialty and is online at www.powerstrokehelp.com. According to him the upgrades make the 6.0 "Bullet Proof". I bought this truck to keep forever and selling it feels like I'm cutting off one of my arms but priorities have changed and I have to part with it. Trust me however when I say this truck is the ultimate and not only comes from the factory with several upgraded goodies but also Includes a recently upgraded EGR Cooler, new Oil Cooler, new IPR Valve, and Coolant Filter, along with service of Oil and coolant all professionally completed by Alternate Solutions in Rancho Cucamonga recently this month, http://www.dealeralternativesolutions.com/ which by the way I will let you talk to him if you are totally serious about buying this vehicle to help remove any doubts you may have regarding the prestine conditon of this vehicle. Tires are like new. Very little wear. Brakes have been checked. Exterior is in great shape, there is a little golf ball dent above the drivers side cab but is hardly noticeable. The interior carpet is like new, seats are cloth nearly perfect, very clean. Everything works as should. Comes with Keyless entry, owners manual, power seats and window, alarm system that works, two keys and remotes, Six Disc CD Player works like new, factory installed Spare Tank which makes for a real savings when you can get fuel cheap. Just push a button to switch tanks. Adding air to you rear suspension is just as easy with the rear LoadLifter Leaf Spring Air Lift Leveling Kit which make for a more comfortable ride. Comes with like new ROLL ALONG BED with painted on bed liner and above liner too - Very Nice. I used this truck very little, really just to show off to my friends not for work, pleasure only. I used my F150 for work and when i have to haul my boat or carry firewood. This truck is always babied and is flawless since its upgraded EGR Cooler was installed which is something you wont have to worry about for ever because its garrenteed for a lifetime and truck should be free of any headaches from here on out. This truck is a real head turner, I get complements nearly every time I drive it. The truck is the pride of ownership and is the ultimate truck for any truck enthusiast. Not really sure of how much this truck would cost new, but my mechanic thinks its may have cost in excess of 70 thousand dollars when first sold in `04. Yes this is a 2WD but think of the gas you'll save and also the higher towing capacity you'll enjoy. Replacing the head gaskets is a labor intensive task that i don't think is necessary. Would be nice if you really want to go all the way. In any case here is a list of items that were recently replaced and are garrenteed for a year. The engine has been throughly checked out by my mechanic and i basically gave him a blank check to work on it so you'll be getting a nice truck better then new because of the upgrades and the still in excellent conditon practically showroom condition. Batteries and Tires are new and a picture will follow of the tread depth.
