Hello, The item up for auction today is a red 2004 Ford Ranger XLT with low miles and a 4 cylinder engine with manual transmission. This is a clean truck and reliable. The truck is stock. This Ranger is being sold because the owner lives in New York City and has no need for a vehicle. It is low miles because it was sitting in an enclosed NYC garage for several years racking up monthly parking fees. The odometer has 39,467 miles on it. The good; 1) The truck drives and runs great. It is a manual transmission and it is geared high so it will easily cruise along at 70 or 80 on the highway. 2) LOW MILES: 39,467 3) I got a combined highway/town mileage of just over 24.5 MPG on a tank of gas prior to the last fill-up. 4) The truck has a clean Florida title and is registered in Florida and has passed state safety and emissions inspections. 5) The exterior and interior are clean and it has the original floor mats. 6) The truck has been washed, waxed, and detailed inside and out and the tires were filled with nitrogen. 7) Speaking of which, the tires are brand new, less than 1000 miles, as is the windshield and the gas tank inertia switch. The medium; 1) This pickup comes with an aftermarket tonneau cover that is in ok shape. You either like these or hate them, I’m not a big fan myself, but it comes with the truck. The bad; 1) This truck has no power options, no power seats, no power door locks, no power windows, no fob to lock/unlock, no cruise control. It is completely old school, which is kind of cool unless you like those kind of things. I suspect the truck likes it the way it is. 2) I think one of the speakers is slightly blown but it isn’t noticeable unless you play the music loud. 3) normal wear and tear, some minor marks and stains, it won’t win first prize at the Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach, but then again Ford Rangers never do. 4) The owner of the truck used to smoke. Air quality in the truck seems good to me as the owner hasn't been using it in the past 3 or 4 years and it has been cleaned thoroughly. This Ranger is sold "as is" with no warranty implied.
