1950 Chevy 3100 Pick-Up, Nice Driver. This is a nice old Truck even though it has'nt had a 100% restoration. A lot of money has been spent on it in the last three or four years. $2500.00 Paint job is four years old, still looks good but has a couple of small scratches. Rock guard has been sprayed on the running boards.. 235-6-cyl engine3-speed on coloum, Runs and Shifts, Stops like it is supposed to. Just about anything needed has been replaced with new reproduction, or rebuilt parts, such as brakes, windows, seals, door components, handles, regulators. linkage, locks, emblems, exhaust, and more. Buyer should appreciate all the hard and expensive stuff that has been done to this truck. It is well above average restoration, but by no means, not a every bolt and nut frame off restoration, Just driving quality. As for rust it's very solid, but it is 60 years old. I'm not going to say rust free because thats stepping out there. Most any truck of this age will have or had some somewhere, minor if any. It is very enjoyable to drive if you fancy old, original trucks and like reliving the yester-years, and yes it still has the old foot start. I have a very very low reserve to let people know I'm selling, Not speculating or testing the market. I know it is worth more than my reserve, and will bring more, but I just got tired of seeing people putting ridiculous reserves on their stuff. Most old trucks have gone Rat-Rod or Resto-mod, but I'm sure there are still some Die-Hards that appreciate the way they were. I have new wipers and linkage that just came in and havent had time to install them. This old truck Runs and Drives Great, Shifts very smoothe. Clutch was replaced a couple of years ago and works great, but sometimes throwout bearing makes a little noise, nothing serious. I have new one but do not feel it is nessary at this time. I think most anyone would be pleased with this old Truck, but with that being said, there is always someone out there that always expects to much and is impossible to please.
