Vehicle Detail

Relisted at no reserve I was 16 years old when these trucks came out and I remember them being rare then. Now 21 years later, here's a blast from the past! A one year only 1989 Shelby Dodge Dakota, one of 460 (from my research) made in white out of a total of 1500 ever produced. This one has been owned by the same person since 1994. This one is number #931 and has all Shelby equipment except the light bar, graphics, and one wheel center cap is missing. Has original 318 TBI V-8 and overdrive automatic transmission, 3.91 no spin rear axle, etc. It also has the very hard to find leather/woodgrain steering wheel, Shelby floormats that are in great shape and all of the Shelby plaques, dash, underhood and door sill plates. This was the only Shelby-ized Dodge of the 80's that was V-8, rear drive. This truck has been taken care of over the years but it has it's share of problems. It has 183K miles but runs pretty good, the transmission needs a new front seal, AC doesn't work, ABS light is on, the heater core has been disconnected, and it has one bald tire. Everything else is normal wear and tear and some dents and dings that were touched up. 100% rust free from Florida. One Shelby wheel is in the bed with a blown out tire, Sony CD player installed and it does have a new radiator. The truck was repainted once and black stripes were painted on, no signs of accident damage. Included with the truck are some extra parts, new brake drums, new aluminum trim rings for the wheels, and a draw tite receiver hitch. The truck runs and drives but the transmission leaks fluid very quickly, it should be trailered. This is a very very rare piece and would be good for restoration or if you need parts for another Shelby Dakota. This is far rarer and faster than a convertible Dakota. I took pictures of what I thought was important. If you have any questions, please call me at 941-322-4330. I have a clear Florida title with documented actual mileage. Happy bidding!
