This is an amazing car. It runs and drives perfect, engine is quiet, balanced and efficient, i get between 29 and 40mpg depending on how and what im driving on. Its been gone through completely by our mechanics and has had a greasecar system installed. We found this car for a greasecar tv show project that we were working on and this is the best one, its non-turbo w123 chasis diesel engine that will go for many more miles, this is i would say only the first 1/5 of the cars life. The dash is perfect, the seats are perfect, everything works and the only real problem it has is the antenna, it wont go up or down automatically. The car has had exhaust work done, new rear axles, The paint is not perfect but really close and it still shines when its buffed out in a beautiful way, its as good as it gets for a car that is in great shape but has not been babied.. Whenever we get a car we have our mechanics completely go through it and replace anything that is broken and/or could break in the future with OEM parts and this time capsule is simply one of the best, the only rust spot is on the bottom of the front of the front fender under the bumper where a patch wore out on the seam, you can't see if from the naked eye but only from when the car is in the air or if you get under it. Other than that its perfect, ready to drive to california tomorrow. Does not overheat, leak any oil and starts all through the winter.. Its had a full tune up and comes with the entire greasecar system professionally installed. Problems: clear coating chipping on the rear trunk fender top, in a small area. see photo. front fender has rusted out area in non noticble part that i can have my body guy fix but did not yet, and the headlight on the driver side has a small chip out of it. antenna motor.
