Up for auction, we have a 1975 VW Bus. This is a project, but it does run and drive now. It could use a new battery, tune-up, and carb adjustment to run/drive better, but it does run/drive in it's current condition. I have bought, restored, and sold to happy customers 5 of these Busses within the last couple of years. All were about in the same condition as this one, showing with a little work, this can be restored back to it's glory days. I am just ready to move on with other things, so that's why I'm selling this one unfinished. It is fairly complete, with just a few items missing. It has the 1600cc motor, which was originally fuel injected, but the previous owner converted it back to a single carb system. The muffler is off, but inside. It needs to be welded back on. Most of the electrical works, except turn signals and wipers. It was missing those two switches, but I bought them, and they will go with the sale of this Bus. The clutch seems alright, and the brakes do stop it. The interior is in restorable condition. The front seats need recovered. The back seat is in good shape. The middle seat is missing. It has the rubber flooring in the front and middle sections. They seem good. The headliner would be near perfect if not for a tear in one place. The windshield is cracked and a side wing glass is out (but inside). The exterior has all the rust in all the usual places. It also has all the dents and dings something of this age should have. Please study the pictures closely, as these will show stuff better than I can explain. I bought this Bus from a state that doesn't issue titles on something of this age, so it was bought on a bill-of-sale only. That is the way I will be selling it to you, on a bill-of-sale ONLY. I will not and cannot guarantee that you can get a title in your state off of this paper alone. Please check with your local DMV so you're not disappointed later. It is sold AS-IS. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Again, study the pictures closely and read all questions/answers I post at the bottom of the listing. The buyer will be responsible for pick-up or shipping. I prefer local pick-up (with a trailer, it can't be driven home), but would work with the shipper of your choice. Please make sure, if you use a shipper, they understand this is a 1975 project Bus, not a 2010 Mercedes Benz. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!!!!!! I don't have time for non-paying bidders. I will require a $200 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end with the remainder due in 7 days via cash or bank certified cashier's check. If you can't meet both my payment deadlines, please don't bid. Once paid in full, I can store for however long you need at no charge. This is a NO RESERVE auction, so bid to win. Remember, this is a project and not ready for the car shows. With some work though, it could be and might I add, could make you a healthy profit. All my other Bus projects have for me.
