I stopped long distance commuting recently and having big family now looking for bigger car. My personal mpg record on this car is 47 miles per gallon and 38 mpg in the city. This car is really a gas sipper. This car never been driven in the winter time and was always kept in the garage. In winter time I am using my older 4x4 Silverado crew cab. This car is totally rust free and has undercarriage coated with rust protective substance! Toyota Echos are famous for their amazing reliability. Believe or not but while ago I found one ad on craigslist: guy was selling his 2000 Echo with 375,000 miles on it (!!! ), he was asking $2000 for it and car still was running very good! Echos have a timing chain and you don’t have to worry replacing timing belt each 70K miles. A/C and all other equipment works perfect. In the middle of the March I installed set of brand new tires (see picture) and drove only around 400 miles since then. Please look at the pictures and make your own evaluation. This car is in really nice condition and ready for another 200K miles. Car is on my name and has a clear title.
