1965 Coronet SLEEPER W@W Take a look at my 1965 Coronet 4-Door. I have owned several 63-65 Mopars over the years and always wanted to build a SLEEPER. You know, something to give the mustang guys to talk about. The kind of car that your grandma would drive with some serious ponies under the hood. This Coronet lived most its life on the west coast serving as a Police Detective car. The interior is original and very nice. I had the car repainted in December and installed a fiberglass front bumper. The body was nearly rust free including the original floor pans. I used some later Police wheels with all new rubber and a sure grip rear. Now for the good stuff. I told my engine guy that I wanted him to build me a reliable 450-500HP street motor. The 440 was taken and assembled using quality MP aftermarket parts. A purple shaft cam was installed and the heads are 906 casting with a pocket port job. Finally, up top you will find a Demon 850 Carb to assure that the motor will have plenty of fuel. This is all backed by a 727 trans with a 2800 stahl converter. As you would imagine, the car runs great, is FAST and super reliable. As you can guess, I have a lot more money in this car then what I’m asking.
