This example is a 1989 Camaro IROC Z, with only 36, 000 pampered miles. Most IROC's of this era were equipped with the 5.0 liter V-8. Not this one, she has the top dog, 5.7 TPI 350 under the hood, mated with the 700R4 automatic. The 350 was only available with the automatic. To be honest, there is not much to say about this car, it is truly a fine example of this breed, with very few excuses. What can I say, it's red, has T-Tops and has the big V-8 under your right foot. On top of that, she has only 36K miles and is in impeccable condition. Take a close look at the pictures, everything works and it drives as good as it looks. The tires are like new, with very few miles. The interior is like a time capsule, just flawless. Only the stereo has been upgraded, but the original unit is included with the sale. We purchased the car last fall and stored it this past winter. As far as history, I know the previous owner had it for around 5 years, but put very few miles on it, maybe only 1,000 or so and added the new tires. Previous to that, I can't be much help, other than word of mouth. We were told the car had a "warranty" re-paint, very early on, due to some problems with the factory paint. I have no documentation to support this, but I would say that it has been painted, not recently and it was a quality job. This was not uncommon for this vintage of GM cars, especially red, they had some issues. As far as flaws; there are not many, but remember, this car is 21 years old and not perfect. I'm sure there are a few stone chips here and there, but nothing that stands out at all. Take this car anywhere and you will be very proud to own it. The sun kind of washed out the color in the pictures. Also, I removed the steering wheel cover, it is perfectly preserved. It was getting dark, but the following photos give a better representation of the actual color. The goofy wheel cover is now removed, perfect wheel.
