This car was an incredible daily driver up until a couple years ago. Unfortunately, the gasket blew within a few thousand miles after I did a ton of work (and completely rebuilt the head). One of the head bolts also snapped right at the threads (at the bottom of the block), so the only real alternative to keep this vehicle running was a new motor. However, this car's got a lot of solid parts to help maintain/restore your own project Jag:Motor Around 5000 miles on a rebuilt head, hand-lapped valves all meticulously adjusted, knock-down kit installed during rebuildAll injectors known to be goodPractically brand new AC compressorAll switches on water rail are new or known good New cold start injectorAlmost new fuel-injector power resistor Interior Only the door panels are in good condition, though the seats assemblies are fine and could be reupholsteredRefinished vinyl dash cover (has one small crack) Exterior All the chrome work is in excellent conditionNeeds paint, and showing typical rust around the rear fender wells Misc Only a couple thousand miles on a rebuilt steering rack, tie rods/ends Same for rear wheel hubs, rebuilt with new bearingsAgain, please note that one of the head bolts snapped almost flush with the bottom of the block and could not be removed. While I suspect this motor would still run strong with the gasket repaired, I highly doubt it would hold for long.
