This Jag is being sold as a running project car because it needs some attention to bring it back to its former glory as the "ultimate ragtop" She shows 63076 miles on the odometer and as far as we can tell this is accurate, she is a V-12 and starts and runs smoothly and quietly and holds good oil pressure and no dash lights are on at the present time. The black convertible top is in good shape with no rips or tears and it goes up and down manually but the power part of the top does not work so it will need to be repaired. The interior is tan leather with dark piping, it is in decent condition for its age but needs a deep cleaning. The interior wood is in average to poor condition and needs some attention. The air conditioner is all there but does not blow cold, probably needs a charge. The alloy rims and full size spare are in good condition and the tires are decent but have flat spots because it has been sitting, they will probably straighten up with some driving. It has an after market Panisonic CD stereo. I drove the car about 25 miles and it did fine on the road but it blew a coolant hose that has not been repaired, I am going to let the next owner do that. The Jag passed West Virginia state MVI inspection in July and has a current sticker which means at that time all safety related items were in good working order (like brakes, lights, wipers, exhaust etc...) We were hired by a local stock broker to sell the car. He purchased it on E Bay five years ago for $18000.00 dollars and probably got taken advantage of. He garaged it and drove it a few times but became overwhelmed by the necessity to spend money on it to keep it running so it sat for a couple of years without being driven. We repaired the busted hose and put a new thermostat in the XJS, it can be driven and it does not overheat, it can sit and idle for long periods and the fans kick on and off just as they should!
