Hello and welcome to my Auction for my 1962 Pontiac Convertible Tempest! This Beauty is the main attraction on my block. You are viewing a 1962 Classic Pontiac Convertible Tempest Restored located here in Beverly Hills, Ca. This classic is original and unmolested California car never seen snow in its life. Original red paint with white top. I drive this beauty around town with the top down on weekends enjoying the sunny california weather. Personaly my favorite part is the all plush white interior. The famous top shop in los angeles restored the tempest with new door panels, new carpet with padding. The Front and Back seats were completely opened up to the raw metal springs and sprayed with special anti rust treatment and then new foam and new uphostry which is an expensive process. The Convertible Top was also removed and the metal was sprayed and renewed and lubricated and a new premium white top was intalled. The 4 cylinder engine was restored 4000 miles ago and runs perfect. the gear box changes gears and goes forward and reverse easily. its a bit harder to drive manual on older cars than newer ones but afer a short while u will get used to it. new belts and oils and a battery was changed few months ago. The car has clean floor and trunk pans with no rust. The original chrome pontiac radio is in the trunk and it works, and 4 original pontiac chrome metal hubcaps are in the trunk they are in good condition. The gauge dosnt work properly but an easy fix. A nice set of Premium white wall tires were just installed. overall the pontiac is solid no rust car and I have owned several classic pontiacs and this is my favorite one. they run forever. I urge any bidder to come inspect the car before the auctions end. I am available everyday before 10am and after 5pm. As nice as this convertible is and beautifull, its not perfect condition so please inspect it or at least call if u have more questions so there are no problems after the auction. my personal number is 310-279-7747.
