Vehicle Detail
The Bad: Hood will not open, Does not run, see below for description of what happened resulting in a breakdown. Unknown problem. Being sold 'as is' All power accessories work except heat and air. Passed MD.emissions last fall. Rear hatch is dented, rear bumper scraped up and paint peeling, otherwise body and paint are nice. A few minor dings here and there. Right rear door leaks and will not open. 1 fog light missing. The Good: Very clean, rust-free body and paint other than the hatch and rear bumper. A few minor dings and dents. Very nice black leather interior. Transmission shifts smooth. Passed stringent Maryland state emissions last fall. As far as options the car has the winter package [heated seats and steering wheel], the upgrade headlight system, sunshades, and parking sensors. My son bought this car with 125,000 miles in Sept 2013. He upgraded in July 2016 and he passed it on to me. During the time we owned it oil was changed every 5-6000 miles using Mobil 1 synthetic. PCV hoses were all replaced at 134,000 miles. Radiator, over-flow tank and upper and lower coolant hoses were replaced at 135,000 miles. At 174,000 miles I took all the plugs out and soaked the cylinders with Delco F/I cleaner. This was done to remove carbon because it was using oil. At that time I also replaced the plugs, the water pump, 2 idler and 1 tensioner pulley and put on 2 new belts. The oil usage after that was at a minimum. New rear pads, new front rotors and pads were installed at 179,000 miles. I am selling because I have 1 garage bay and it has a project car in it. I don't have the time to work on this car and rather than let it sit and deteriorate I am selling. I am located 1/2 mile off I-95 in Edgewood, MD. Obviously the car will need to be towed. If you are out-of-state I of course will cooperate with shipping company once vehicle is paid in full. I am asking for a $100 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending with the balance to be paid upon pickup in cash. The title is clear and is in my name. This is a NO RESERVE auction. Please don't bid unless you intend to follow through. Thanks, Bill Relisted 2/8/19 due to non-paying, non-communicating bidder. ****Please Read***** I am going to try to describe the symptoms of what exactly happened the last time I used the car resulting in breaking down on the highway. I left my house that day intending to make a rather short 10 mile trip to a friends. When I pulled up to the first light I noticed the car running a little rough. I thought it was maybe a bad coil pack as I have replaced a few of those during the course of ownership. The further I drove the rougher the engine ran, almost like one coil pack at a time went bad. The next light I came to the car had almost zero power, so I pulled over, the engine died and wouldn't restart, The car didn't overheat or anything like that. The check engine light came on after the initial hesitation at the first light. Please e-mail or call with any other questions. 410-459-5147 Please leave a message if I don't answer. I work a lot and can't answer my phone at work. Thanks, Bill
