Vehicle Detail

Bike was sold for $4300 and the buyer did not have the funds to close. 1974 Honda 350F in glorious Glory Blue Metallic. 3914 miles from new. Lots of patina. This bike has never been restored, although the carburetors have been rebuilt and all normal servicing and maintenance has been done. There are 2 year old tires with a few hundred miles. A reasonable amount of polishing of a few of the motor parts, tank, and side covers. The bike rides and shifts well. There are no issues of any sort with the front or rear brakes. The seat is original and barely used. The exhaust is near perfect. There are no holes and the packing is still intact. The pipes are No Longer Available and nearly impossible to find in anything like this condition. I have seen a good set of used exhaust pipes sell for more than $3,000.These are 14,000 rpm engines. These little motors really wail especially for 1974.These are wonderful little bikes. The smallest production 4 cylinder they've made and the closest to the racing baby 4 cylinders Honda raced in the early 60's. This bike is collectible and ride-able. On Jan-30-19 at 05:54:08 PST, seller added the following information: A number of people have asked about the color, because it looks black and not blue. The original and only color for 1974 was Glory Blue Black Metallic. I left the "Black" out in the original description. After over 40 years, it looks black. I thought of repainting the tank and side covers, but the paint is very nice and its original. On Feb-03-19 at 06:49:46 PST, seller added the following information: A collector came by yesterday and looked the bike over. He was really impressed with how perfect the exhaust was. He went over it carefully and was saying he thought it miught be a reproduction. Then, he found the Honda part number! You have no idea how rare it is to have a "perfect" set of 350F exhaust pipes. (I have seen the pipes alone sold for $2500-3000.) I was going to have it repainted in the OEM color, but had not done that yet. I've never done that before and can't find the feature that let's me do that. I apologize to all, but my wife wants to keep the bike.
