Hello! Since the first thing people usually look for when buying this model M3 is VANOS, here's a video showing there are no VANOS problematic sounds: IMG 0103 - YouTube Video will open in a new window Using the eBay App? I bought it from an elderly gentleman 4 years ago (he owned it since 2004) who babied it and I think I have all service records since 2004...which is important when buying one of these M3's since they were be prone to a few major issues if maintenance was not kept up with on time. I have had many of the expensive (thousands of $) services already done at professional BMW repair shops, so you don't need to worry about that. Both front airbags replaced in the last 2 years due to factory recall. Original Window sticker and all keys included! If you watch or read about the e46 M3, you know that they are supposed to be a collector car in the next 5-10 years and in the last few years have already been rising in value since they are known as the last "true M3 driver's car". It is an absolute dream to drive and extremely fast with the 333hp inline 6 engine. I wouldn't be selling it if I didn't need an SUV for more practicality. I will buy another one in the near future. Car has always been garaged during my ownership. I just gave it a good detail and can't find any clear coat peeling...paint is very good! There are some scratches but much less than you would expect from a daily driven 2003 M3. Note that paint is fading is on front plastic bumper...but hard to see unless under certain lights. The interior has some wear as you can see in the photos. Subframe and VANOS are good according to my tech who checks it periodically. My tech recently looked it over and said it is in very good shape. I have notes if you wish to see! Expensive Maintenance Already Done:- Rod Bearings Replaced - during 2004- Clutch and Flywheel 121,000- Valve Adjustment - 126,000 - Spark Plugs - 131,000 - New Driver & Passenger Airbags (BMW recall) 116,000- New Michelin Pilot Sport Tires - 127,000 - Alternator Replaced 127,000 Options:Harmon Kardon Sound (very good system)Xenon headlightsPremium PackageHeated SeatsPower seats Ski packageAftermarket:- OEM ZHP Weighted Shifter and Alcantara Boot- K&N Air Intake- Southbend Performance Single Mass Clutch and Flywheel (may be annoying to drive if you're not an enthusiast)Known Issues...i am a very upfront when I sell a car:- Moonroof Doesn't work- The EML & Service Engine Soon lights go on every few days. The shop scanned the computer and reported that throttle body actuator (part costs a few hundred) needs replacement.- Driver seat warmer only works on seat but not back- Rear seats have some wear on the back from sun- There was some carbon build up when my tech did a valve adjustment in July '17 but hecleaned it out well and uses an engine cleaner during oil changes. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
