Up for your consideration is a classic 1983 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 Targa - 2 door - removable top - 6 clyinder - 2993cc. - manual - sports car. The car does need restoration, but it is original, complete and a solid specimen. Please use the pictures as your primary guide to the condition. It ran and drove fine when parked but it currently does not run and has been stored for the past 10 - 11 years. It was stored covered 10+ years of that time but the cover came off at within this past year. The photos were taken this past year. The rust appears to all be surface rust as can be seen on the hood/deck lid in the pictures. I cannot see any rust in the crevices or joints where rust usually gathers in the pictures. I have not personally inspected the vehicle's undercarriage or under carpets. If you would like to personally inspect the vehicle that can probably be arranged. The interior is black leather. The front seats currently have covers on them but the actual seats under those covers could probably use reupholstering themselves. The car is located in a storage yard in Tipp, Ohio. You are responsible for pick up and delivery. A flat bed tow truck can access the location to pick up it up and deliver the Porsche to you or your shipping location. One of the last vehicles I sold on eBay was picked up and shipped to New Zealand! I am assisting a friend to sell the Porsche. It was her husband's who passed away a couple years ago. I have not personally seen this vehicle so if something sounds off, wrong or questionable please inquire. I am happy to answer all the questions I can or at least pose them to the owner to obtain an answer. We will do out best to answer any question you have as we want you to know exactly what you are bidding on. We are being as honest as possible with the sale of this car, that being said we are selling this car as is, we offer no warranty or exchanges. If particular info is required for your purchase (please ask us as we do want to be as clear and honest as possible!) but we are not able to get that info (we both live out of state) please consider it a worst case scenario and factor that into your bidding so you will not be disappointed when your purchase arrives. All 4 tires are flat and the car is lower to begin with but something is better than nothing right? If you would like them please message me and I will get you them. The manager of the storage lot is sending them to me as we speak. I also have a potential buyer/bidder arranging to check it out in person so if you are local and interested in seeing in person as well please let me know. I asked the owner if any engine work had been done. She is pretty confident nothing major has been done. She advised that just before parking it where was a little smoke coming from the exhaust which was rectified and that receipt is in the glove box. But based on her comments I am guessing the motor is all original. At this point I do not know if the engine will turn over or not. I cannot have the manager of the storage test since the key is in California. A note: The key and pink slip are here in California with the owner. Upon sale/payment completion. I will meet with the owner and help her fill out the pink slip/transfer of ownership and then I will take it and the key and personally mail it to the buyer/or desired shipper, so pick up can be arranged.
