UPDATE: So I found out some more info on this truck. It actually supposedly has a higher compression head, better bearings, ignition is all 12V, wiring is all fresh, its got a bigger cam(I think, although to me I don't hear it) The overdrive is a WORFORD. Its got blinkers and hazards and the restoration is top notch, its as clean underneath or anywhere you look as it is outside. It really just needs a good detailing and itll look like it was all just done. All the wood inside, the top everything was done, upholstery aswell. From what I can see it should be a 12-15,000 truck. If I don't see bids the day before it is set to end, Ill have to pull the listing, as I will not let it sell for 5 grand. Im willing to talk offers and come down off what I feel its worth to motivate a buyer, but I have to do right by my friend Im selling it for. Engines got VW dist, and just a couple small upgrades but its mainly all stock. Has overdrive w 2 shifters. Runs and drives great. buyer in charge of shipping/pickup obviously. NO RESERVE AUCTION!! The stuff on the back of the truck doesn't go with it, its just sitting there. I am absolutely positive it falls between the #2 and #3 price range. The restoration was no amature job, it just needs to be detailed and the restoration is about 15-20 years old. Ive seen it all shined up just 5 years ago, it looked IMMACULATE!! And this truck is NOT stock when it comes to its speed, itll run 55 mph with the over drive/splitter and then other shifter also has 2 speeds so its got a total of FOUR gear ratio's. Im the mechanic and I got the fuel system drained and cleaned and cleaned the carb nd checked everything over. Cooling system is great and coolant is great, I drove this truck about 3 miles two days ago and I had to be doing atleast 35 only using 1 of the gears. Brakes are great everything works excellent.
