Frame and motor are numbers matching 1st Gen TR6, they have the same 'VIN' on them and represent the year 1963 and a TR6 SS.2 of these bikes have sold in the last year for over 13 grand. Fully renovated-ish. And I've only ever seen about 4 for sale in the U.S.Pros: Currently having motor rebuilt, not from damage but just to update the pistons, transmission, and inner workings. It's also being bead blasted and repainted to original condition. Essentially a band new motor! This is being done by the mechanic at British in the City (Atlanta) and you can call that shop if you have any questions. It also has new tires, new carburetor, air filter, fuel lines, cables for throttle and clutch are new, the clutch has been rebuilt with new parts, it has been upgraded to 12v battery system and has an electronic ignition, and new key switch etc.Cons:Cosmetically it needs some attention and the gas tank is not the right year, it is NOT hard to find a 1963 gas tank replica, costing about 2 to 300 bucks-just wasn't after a complete restoration. An original is around 4 or 500. The exhaust are banged up but would look good wrapped or left alone for patina, though a new shiny chrome exhaust system is about 350 with shipping and simply bolts on.This is a really cool bike and iconic as well.
