Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2004 Ford Focus SVT in Competition Orange. As per Ford SVT group, this car is #876/1978 made in 2004. Includes desirable European Appearance package with upgraded HID headlights, Recaro leather seats, subwoofer, traction control, and SVT 15 spoke 17 inch alloy wheels. Car currently sporting a set of 16 inch SVT wheels with Dunlop Winter Maxx tires. Four Euro package wheels are included with Continental summer tires, but they probably have less than 5k miles left on them. Car was purchased by me from Packey Webb Ford in March 2016 and all service has been performed at the dealer. I haven't tracked, modified, or tuned anything and it includes all original equipment, including floor mats, manuals, and two sets of keys. Service history includes:Oil changed every 5k miles Replaced timing belt, valve cover gasket, and water pump (all preventive maintenance) at 64,902 milesReplaced right rear wheel bearing, both rear brake calipers, rotors and pads at 65,350 milesReplaced O2 sensors at 68,871 milesReplaced left rear wheel bearing at 69,519 milesReplaced thermostat and housing with upgraded Contour versions at 72,251 miles (did myself)Replaced rear brake lines, parking brake cables, right front brake caliper at 78,460 milesPassed Illinois vehicle emission test 11/2017. Next test due 10/2019 to 1/2020I’ve taken good care of this car. Always use premium gas. No OBD-II codes, accidents, never been smoked in. Getrag transmission shifts smoothly with no issues. The interior cabin and leather are in excellent condition. The exterior paint is typical of a 15 year old car. A few pebble chips on the hood. The clear coat has a few rough spots on the rear bumper and top of the spoiler as shown in the photos. The bottom of each door has a bit of rusting, typical of mid 2000 Fords. I applied Rust Bullet on the inside portion. I debated sanding and repainting vs applying a painted body molding strip, but figure it’s best decided by the next owner. Minor issues (to me): driver side heated seat is out, passenger works fine. Stereo volume is best adjusted from steering wheel controls, the volume button on the head unit is finicky. Rear wiper stops half way through cycle, need to flip off/on to complete a full pass – assume there is a bad wire somewhere. This car has been a joy to drive and will make a fun daily driver. I drive it to the train station each day, so mileage will be a bit higher than odometer photo (but still under 79,500). Second set of wheels/snow tires allow for all season usage. For those into mods and track days, Ford Focus forums indicate this car is a great low cost way to get into the hobby. Thanks for looking! Please contact me with questions or for additional photos.
