The CR "Club Racer" is the most collectible version of the Honda S2000 and this particular example is one of the rarest. This CR is finished in Rio Yellow Pearl and is1 of only 699 CR's produced1 of only 59 CR's produced in A/C-Radio "Delete" specification (the Delete option offered the car with no radio and no A/C and was intended for the person who truly wanted a track car with minimal weight)1 of only 20 CR Delete vehicles produced in the Rio Yellow Pearl colorThe S2000 CR was the most hardcore S2000 produced and was only sold in the US market. Changes from the base S2000 include:- A/C-Radio Delete option available - Sound deadening removed for weight savings - Soft top removed for weight savings and replaced with removable hardtop (this was a $3000+ option for the standard S2000) - Exclusive interior with suede and yellow deviated stitching on the seats and doors - Exclusive grey colored wheels and black badging - Exclusive shift knob - Suspension/Steering/Body brace updates for quicker response and better chassis control - Front lip spoiler and rear wing for improved aerodynamic performance - Spare tire removed for weight savings - Softer compound tires for better grip/cornering performanceThis RYP CR is a very clean example with only 13,115 miles. The car is all stock and in excellent condition. All body panels have original VIN tags and the car has a clean car fax report and title. All metal paintwork was metered and appears to be original (have video of metering). The rear bumper is original but does appear to have a light respray on the upper part near the VIN tag shown in the pictures (it is very difficult to tell as the paint match is perfect, could possibly have been a factory repair but I do not know the history). Included with the car is a soft indoor car cover, original window sticker, all original keys, tonneau cover caps, and original owner’s manual. This car is a collector grade car and very rare. This S2000 CR Delete model is offered in stock form with no modifications. Exterior has very little wear and tear from the 13K miles (I would rate it 8.5 to 9/10), interior is in excellent condition (9/10), and the mechanics of the vehicle are excellent (9.5/10). It has had 3 registered owners since new with the 2nd and 3rd owner (myself) being collectors. The car drives like a brand new car with no issues at all and has a new battery, it would make a great collector car or driver. The only flaws that I have found on the entire vehicle are (shown in the pictures) 1) The rear bumper has the original VIN tag but it appears that there has been a light paint re-spray done. This may have been a factory repair but no history has been found. The paint does match very well. 2) The right rear wheel has a small scratch on one of the spokes. 3) There are a few VERY SMALL stone chips on the front bumper (about the size of the end of a ball point pen). 4) There is a small indentation on the black window door trim piece on the top of the passenger door. It is difficult to see but I wanted to point it out.
