This GX470 is loaded with off road options and features such as the Limited Slip Center Differential, front Manual Locking Differential, Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), Downhill Assist Control (DAC), and Automatic Stability Control. The brakes work perfect with no weird noises and no pulsations in the brake pedal. The exhaust is quiet with zero leaks. This GX470 drives straight down the road with no pulling. The steering is precise and provides a great feel for the road. The Automatic Rain Sensing Wipers work perfect. There is also the option to use the regular intermittent wipers which work great as well. The Dual-Zone Auto Climate Control works amazing. Both front Heated seats work awesome and they have variable setting which is amazing. Cruise Control works perfect. Everything works. This vehicle received the highest safety rating in its class in 2004. Some of the Safety Features include the Multi-Stage Dual Front Airbags, Front Seat Mounted Side Airbags, Front and Rear Side Curtain Airbags, and the (8) 3-Point Safety Belts. With a responsible owner and proper care, this GX470 will easily go 500,000 miles. Exterior:The stunning Silver Pine Metallic exterior is in excellent condition. The paint is all original and shines like new. This beautiful GX470 has never been in an accident. All VIN tags are present on every body panel and every door jam. The windshield is perfect with no rock chips or cracks. All other glass is perfect as well. The headlights, fog lights, and tail lights are gorgeous. They are micro cleaned, polished and protected weekly. Absolutely no haze, fading, or discoloration. They are very beautiful and still look new. The premium factory alloy wheels are immaculate and look brand new with no curb rash, scuffs, scratches, or corrosion. They are cleaned on a daily basis, waxed weekly, and ceramic coated every 3 months. Also, outside clip on wheel weights are not used on these wheels and they haven't been used since the factory ones were removed. Only inside wheel sticky weights are used. It just looks better and they don't mess up the wheel’s finish. The 4 Michelin LTX MS2 tires are in excellent shape with lots of life left. They perform great in all weather conditions. Even if you don't buy this GX, I recommend this tire to everyone. They are a bit pricey but safety is very important. This GX comes with a full size matching spare wheel and tire mounted under the chassis and it is in excellent condition as well. All 36 factory chrome lug nuts and wheel locks look brand new with no rust, corrosion, scuffs, or scratches. They are removed weekly to be micro cleaned and polished, and they are ceramic coated every 3 months. The 4 wheel center caps are in perfect condition with no scratches, cracks, or corrosion. They are removed and deep cleaned weekly as well. This GX is always parked in the empty area of parking lots to avoid the carelessness of others like door dings. There are zero door dings on the car. Yes, zero. There are a few rock chips up front but very minimal, way below average. Never tailgated cars or trucks and it shows. Never driven on dirt or gravel roads. Never driven on sand or near oceans. The front and rear chrome emblems and chrome body trim are in excellent condition with no flaking, corrosion, or discoloration. The front grill looks brand new and was refinished a couple years back. The painted slats began to fade over time, so it was professionally refinished to match the 2 small lower bumper grills and it looks incredible. The gas door is in perfect condition with no issues. It opens with the interior pull latch every time with no hesitation or grittiness. It closes perfectly with no odd gaps and it closes perfectly flush with the body lines. The gas cap works perfect and all insides look brand new. All insides are micro cleaned regularly and the painted areas are waxed regularly to preserve that brand new look. All of the wheel wells are clean with absolutely no rust or road tar. The illuminated running boards are in excellent condition and look brand new. The large Heated Tinted Power Side Mirrors are in excellent condition with no scuffs, cracks, or rock chips and the glass mirrors are perfect. A notable feature is the mirrors have Reverse Auto-Tilt so when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the mirrors automatically tilt down for curb view on both sides. The rear spoiler with integrated center LED tail light is in excellent condition and the tail light works perfect. The rear bumper is perfect besides a very small crease near the upper left side right below the bumper step area. The factory upgraded Class 3 trailer hitch is in excellent condition and has never been used. The original Lexus embossed rubber cap is present and it is in perfect condition. All 5 exterior door handles are in excellent condition and work perfectly. The large rear cargo door opens perfectly every time. All exterior lighting works perfect as well. There are no burnt out lights anywhere. All factory halogen light bulbs have been converted to white LED. They look awesome. The projector headlights are incredibly crisp and bright with amazing beam distance. Driving at night is a pleasure. The hood pops open perfectly with the interior pull latch. The gas hood struts raise and hold the hood up perfectly like a new car. The engine bay is showroom clean and immaculate. No missing clips, covers, or trim and no broken parts. The engine bay is detailed every few days. All covers are shampooed and conditioned while everything else is dry brushed and micro cleaned. Even the battery stay is rust free. The silver painted areas in the engine bay are polished and waxed regularly to keep them looking brand new. Never used oily products in the engine bay like Armor All because all they do is make parts collect dirt and dust. The door jams are super clean as well with no rust at all. They are steam cleaned regularly and waxed once a month. This is a gorgeous car. Interior:The interior is beautiful and immaculate with no issues. Every option, gadget, button, dial, and switch works perfect. No broken or missing buttons or trim or anything. Everything is functional, has a purpose, and is easy to use. When Lexus designed this vehicle, I imagine engineers had 2 things in mind ahead of everything else, convenience and comfortability. Everything is so convenient and so comfortable. The front Dual-Zone Auto climate control works great on every setting. The AC is ice cold and the heat is very toasty. The rear Climate Control with rear AC works great on every setting. The rear AC is so strong and powerful, it's like being in an arctic wind tunnel, its so cool. All 4 power windows are Full Auto up and down and work fantastic. They are just as fast going up as they are going down with no hesitation and a bonus is they have pinch protection. The Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror works fantastic. It automatically tints the mirror at night when bright headlights are behind you. Quite the amenity when driving long hours on the highway at night. The Auto Open/Close Power Moonroof opens, closes, and seals perfectly. Oh and the Moonroof is huge! When it's open it’s like having no roof up front, it's awesome. All Power Door Locks lock and unlock like perfectly. All 4 chrome interior door handles work perfect and they are in excellent condition. As stated earlier all the factory halogen lights were converted to white LED and this included the interior lights as well. Everything from the all the numerous dome lights, to all the courtesy lights, to even the Vanity Mirror lights are white LED. All interior lights work perfect. Every interior button and switch with night time illumination lights up perfectly at night. Not a single button bulb is out. Cruise Control works perfect and all steering wheel buttons work great. The steering wheel is in excellent condition and looks brand new. The black leather on the steering wheel was restored a couple years ago because a few wear spots were beginning to show. It is perfect. A cool feature to mention here is the steering wheel is Auto Tilt and Telescoping, so when you get in and start the car, the steering wheel comes to you and when you turn off the car the steering wheel retracts out of the way. Oh and it works perfect and it is fully adjustable. The 8 Dark Gray Leather seats are in great condition. No rips, cuts, punctures, or stains. The Front Seats are Heated with Variable Setting and work amazing. You can adjust the amount of warmth you want on the bottom and lumbar area. Both front seats are All-Way Full Power and they are extremely comfortable. Every power adjustment works perfect. The front seats have some light cracking near the outside hip areas of the leather but for having 244K miles, the leather is still beautiful, soft, and supple. A notable cool feature about the rear seats is they can recline. Yes, if your rear passengers are getting sleepy from watching movies or listening to their own private music, they can recline their seats and nap until their destination. Another notable interior feature is the amount of cup holders this car has. There are 8 cup holders total. Also, there are 2 power outlets up front that work perfect. The interior is cleaned regularly. The carpets, door panels, center console, Navigation unit, dash, and ceiling are all cleaned on a regular basis and all are in excellent condition. There are no worn buttons or switches anywhere. Everything works perfect and looks perfect. The beautiful Bird's Eye Maple Wood Trim is in excellent condition. This is probably the most eye appealing wood trim Lexus has ever released. Not all GX470's have this so even if you don't buy this GX, get one with Bird's Eye Maple Wood Trim. The wood trim in this GX has zero scratches or nicks and it is cleaned regularly. Every wood trim piece is even protected with a coat of wax every week to keep them looking brand new. The dash panel is in wonderful condition as well but it does have a couple very small cracks around the far left air vent and gauge area as seen in the photos. The Navigation System is in excellent condition and works like new. The entire Unit was replaced a couple years ago. Maps have been updated. It is a Voice Navigation system that not only can give directions aloud, but can respond to driver commands as well. Very convenient. At the large touchscreen you can control everything from Navigation to the Stereo to the Climate Control to even watching a DVD. Yes, you can watch a movie on the front screen. The touchscreen itself is very responsive with lightning fast transitions from selection to selection. This car was way ahead of its time when it was released which might be why Lexus ran this 1st Generation GX for 7 years. That’s right, the GX470 was in production from 2003 through 2009 which is rare. The Clock and Info Center works perfect. It can display a wide range of active measurements such as Altitude, Temp, Atmospheric Pressure, Gas Mileage, Range, and many more. The 14-Speaker 240 Watt Mark Levinson Premium Audio System sounds amazing and works flawlessly on every setting. Music sounds so crisp, clean, and clear. Lexus hit the ball out of the park with this one. The 6 Disc In-Dash CD Changer in the glove box is in excellent condition and works perfect. The Rear Seat Audio System (RSAS) works perfect. It has private AM/FM Radio and can also play CD's. The upgraded Audiovox Rear DVD Entertainment System works awesome. This was a factory upgraded option with 9 inch screen and the picture is great, very clear. The rear has 2 private headphone jacks and the DVD System is 2 Channel Infrared so you can use wireless headphones as well. The 2nd row seats can fold forward and down to be flat and the 3rd row seats can be folded up and stowed out of the way for great amazing cargo space. Speaking of the Cargo area, it is in beautiful condition. The carpet cargo mat is like new with no stains or anything. All the adjustments and mechanics of all the seats work perfect. There is a middle headrest for the 3rd row that is inside the right rear seat. Just unzip the back of the right rear seat, pull out the headrest, slide it on, and you're done. It’s that easy. The 2nd and 3rd row seating areas also have 4 roof mounted adjustable Climate Control vents that blow air with extreme force, its great. Oh and the rear has a 120V AC power outlet (like in your home) so if your MacBook battery is getting low, just plug it in and you’re set. The interior of this GX470 is beautiful and comfortable. Maintenance History: As stated earlier, this GX470 has been meticulously maintained by the book. Always serviced on time at Lexus. The entire service history is fully documented and it is included with the car. Every 5000 miles the oil is changed and a 27-Point World Class Inspection is completed. All of the fluids are clean and perfect. They are changed at the correct intervals and they all look bright and beautiful. The coolant is a bright beautiful red, the brake fluid is a beautiful amber, and the oil is a beautiful gold.
