1998 Lincoln MARK VIII LSC Temple Performance Extreme Series 2 Package For Sale is one of the NICEST and quickest Lincoln MARK VIII’s on the planet. Rust free body with beautiful laser straight body panels with completely original and FLAWLESS interior, extremely clean undercarriage, and engine compartment. The car has a clean Auto Check report. No accidents or damage, EVER. It lived all of its life in the southern US, away from the nasty northern winters. I have owned it for nearly 4 years and it is garaged in a climate controlled area, and has NEVER seen any bad weather. The body, paint, and undercarriage all show that. The odometer shows 94k miles, but with all the re-work and mods done to the car, the mileage is irrelevant to what it actually is now. You will read about the mods later in the description. EXTERIOR: The Toreador Red Metallic paint is all original and is in EXCELLENT condition. There are no door dings, and only a few minor flaws as you would expect for a 20 year old vehicle. I just had the entire body buffed and polished and it looks excellent. The glass is all in excellent condition. The gray painted and clear coated Speedstar Wheels shine beautifully with no curb rash, nicks or flaws anywhere. It also has fairly new BF Goodrich Sport Comp TA Tires that are in excellent condition. INTERIOR: A 100% NON SMOKER Car. The light gray leather interior is in great shape. All seating areas, headliner, door panels, carpet, dash, seat belts, and floor mats are in excellent condition. Power windows, door locks, cruise control, AM FM CD original factory sound system all work perfectly. The gauges, dash lights, interior lights, and power seats all work perfectly and are fully functional. The AC Blows very cold on those hot sunny days. The dash is in perfect condition and everything works. Electric 2 way moon roof, with tilt up feature or full slide open position, and it works perfectly. The passenger seat and back seat look like they have never been sat in. The trunk compartment is in very clean condition and looks excellent. MECHANICALS: The original 4.6 L, INTECH V-8, 32 Valve, COBRA power plant has been rebuilt and runs perfectly. It has a few tasteful mods done to it to allow it to breathe better. (see specs below) The original, AOD 4 - speed automatic overdrive transmission shifts smoothly and effortlessly with a mild shift kit. The car runs, drives, and stops flawlessly. And it is EXTREMELY QUICK ! It is a true JOY to drive, or just cruise. The car needs absolutely nothing. It is in perfect mechanical condition.
