Vehicle Detail
1970 Honda ST 70 DAX. More rare than it's cousin the CT 70. The ST 70 Dax was sold with blinkers in Europe and Canada only. I have owned this bike for at least 12 years. The motor has been completely overhauled by MotoEnzo, a professional CT/ST 70 engine specialist. Google MotoEnzo and see what he does. I am listed on his site as one of his satisfied customers which I truly am. The engine is extremely quiet and smooth. Along with the engine rebuild I purchased a new carb from him which is currently on the bike. The original carb will go with the bike sale. He also repainted the wheels for me in correct Honda Cloud Silver color. This bike also has a new seat including the pan, new tires and tubes, and if I remember right, the exhaust pipe is a new Honda pipe. When I purchased the bike it had two of the four blinkers. I ordered all new blinkers which appear in the pictures. I think I saved the old original blinkers which will go with the sale . I last registered the bike in NY as a moped, due to the engine size, in 2014. I have an expired transferable NYS registration for it. After the Enzo rebuild this bike has seen small neighborhood touring and spins around the yard. Total hours on the rebuild I would guess would be around 20 hours. While the paint has its imperfections in a few places, overall it is in very good condition and the color is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. Also, the right foot peg is slightly bent back. Not very noticeable unless you're looking straight down at them. There is no reserve on this bike, it will sell with the first bid and the auction will take it where it goes. This has been one of my favorites, it is beautiful and very sound. $200 deposit will be due within 48 hours after auction ends. Shipping is responsibility of buyer. I have a flexible schedule and can meet with your shipper when needed. The bike will not leave here until full payment is made and has cleared the bank. Please feel free to call with any questions. 518-858-6501. Welcome to come look in person as well. Thank you and good luck. It's a beauty!P.S. Needs new battery.
