VIN: SALLDVAC8AA262012 This 1984 Land Rover Defender 90 is a rare left-hand drive example imported to the US from CAN. Power comes from a 2.5-liter inline-four linked to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and 2-speed transfer case. The color is green with black interior. This D90 shows 91k miles (147K km). This Defender is in good condition for its age. The engine pulls and drives well, the gearbox is smooth to use and to operate. It drives very tight and is comfortable sitting at 65-70mph on the highway. It rides, drives and steers very nicely; it sits on matching 16″ wheels with BF Goodrich KO2 Kevlar all-terrain tires. Note the tires show some signs of dry rot. All noteworthy points like the bulkhead, frame, cross member and door bottoms are all in good condition. The undercarriage is very clean and shows only minor surface rust in a few places. Photos are provided to show the frame, outriggers, and driveline. 5-speed gearbox selects all gears as does high/low ratio and diff lock. New exhaust and clutch were changed very recently. Fires right up, idles well, and pulls along nicely. All lights, wipers, heater, gauges all work as they should. Shifts well and has plenty of power! The rear cargo area has been fitted with troop seats. The vehicle has been garage kept since the date of purchase over 6 years ago. It has been very well maintained. This vehicle has passed all Department of Transport, Environmental Protection Agency, Customs & Border Patrol and DMV tests and inspections and has been 100% legally imported. It is insured, titled and registered in Texas and will be sold with a clean TX title in hand.
