2012 Chevy 2500 HD Crew Cab truck - Police Auction NO RESERVE - CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING - See Below for Details (PLEASE READ ALL, including issues) This auction is being conducted by the Jefferson Co Sheriff's Office in Birmingham, Al. Please read listing carefully as we list all known defects and show plenty of photos. This vehicle is being auctioned 'AS IS' with no warranty implied or given. Winning bidder is responsible for picking up and/or shipping vehicle. Winning bidder is responsible for any taxes and/or fees associated with registering in their respective State. Vehicle is available for inspection, unable to test drive. Here is PROBLEM WITH TRUCK LISTED: This vehicle was wrecked and repaired, including a slightly bent frame restored back to proper parameters. Please note that a problem has now developed with engine/drivetrain. Dealership completely replaced entire Exhaust System due to Engine no longer allowing vehicle to exceed 5 MPH. After repairs and put back into service, the same problem has re-developed. Dealership Now states it needs following: Turbo System, 2 thermostat and knock sensors, water pump and some electrical issues traced. Back Up Camera no Longer functioning. Currently the odometer does not read the mileage which is right around 193,500 and instrument panel is displaying the following messages such as, Exhaust Quality Poor, See Owner's Manual Now, and 61 MI Until 65 MPH Max Speed. Due to these problems, the Truck will crank, but CAN NOT be driven.
