1969 Mustang Boss 302. Found this tucked away in a barn and pulled it out yesterday December 2nd. I have known about it for awhile and have a clear PA title for the car. I have a Marti report also. It is a true Boss 302 car. That being said it is too much of a project for me and I am going to sell it at no reserve. The car left the Dearborn plant and was scheduled for build April 30, 1969. It still retains a lot of the original Calypso Coral Paint. It still has the original black knit vinyl deluxe bucket seats which are in very good shape, The back seat has an area where a mouse had chewed on the bottom of the seat, It was ordered thru the Pittsburgh Sales Office with a 3.91 traction-lok rear axle. It was equipped with the following options; Rear Deck Spoiler, Traction-Lok Differential, Optional Axle Ratio, F60X15 Belted Raised White Letter Tires, Sport Deck Rear Seat, Power Front Disc Brakes, Interior Décor Group- Deluxe, AM Radio, Tinted Glass-Complete, Color Keyed Racing Mirrors, and a Tachometer and Trip Odometer. I am sure she was a hot running looker in the day. That was then, this is now. It is missing the hood, trunk lid, front bumper, grill, and all of the drivetrain components.The front disc brakes have been replaced with drums, There are no gauges or instruments in the car, The pedals are still there. No radiator or radio, No gas tank. The drivers side door is toast, drivers side front fender is wrinkled at the top. The underside of the car is swiss cheese. The rear end in the car has most likely been switched out at one time. All of the tinted glass is still present and in good shape. the interior looks to be original and nice, excluding the hole in the rear seat bottom, Door panels are very nice, the dash pad itself is nice. All of the sheet metal remaining appears to be original to the car with no evidence of body panel replacement. Some remnants of the factory stripes appear on each panel with the exception of the drivers side quarter panel and they may have been sanded off. I can see evidence of a 24" wide stripe that went the whole length of the roof. I do not know the history of the car but assume it may have been raced at one time. If you are in the market to restore a Mustang restore one that was a limited production model, one that will be worth your time, effort and money when it is done. This is a project that will fill in all of those boxes. Again I am selling at no reserve, high bidder will own this car. Make it yours at auction.
