Selling my son's CRF 150R. This is a 2009 model, but has a complete new 2013 head and carburetor mods to correct the hesitation issue with 2010 and older CRF 150s, which was due to a design issue with the ports. Several thousand dollars in upgrades, including Showa Works competition forks, complete FMF exhaust system, complete new 2013 head assembly with corresponding carb updates, all professionally installed, and Black Heart custom graphics. Recent valve adjustment during routine maintenance. I am the second owner. I purchased it from a wealthy car dealer in Augusta, GA, who buys his son a new motocross bike every year. Bike was in like new condition. This bike runs really great, and rides beautifully. My son loved it, and got in some practice sessions before a growth-related knee condition acted up and he had to quit riding for several months while he went through rehab (his kneecap was moving around). Then we moved to the NC Outer Banks, and there are no dirt tracks anywhere near here, unfortunately, so he is learning how to surf. This bike is a giant step up from a 2 stroke 85cc, much more responsive, controllable, and with greater torque across a wide power band. Way more fun (and safer) to ride and you can be competitive much sooner if you want to race. The bike was kept in my heated garage, and for the last few months since we moved, has been stored in a climate controlled storage facility with the gas drained. The bike is in Southern Maryland. These bikes sell for over $5000 new. I can meet buyer in Maryland, Virginia, or North Carolina to deliver.
