2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic XJ - 4.0 6 cylinder, automatic, 4x4, AC, Cruise, Power windows, power locks, overhead console, class 3 hitch, roof rack, Weather-tech floor liners and cargo liner. Currently has 157k miles. Runs and drives very well. 4x4 works perfectly. Performed a lot of recent maintenance to ensure this was a good reliable vehicle for my girl. New parts include: water pump, shocks, tires, new U-joints in shafts and front axle, new front wheel bearings, transmission serviced, and new fluids. Previous owner claimed engine was either rebuilt or replaced but he had no documentation to prove it. It does run very strong though and doesn't give any indication of the mileage, so this may be accurate. It doesn't leak or burn any oil. Now for the bad stuff......it has a crack in the windshield from a rock kicked up by the lawn mower (my luck!) New windshield is about $200 installed. The Jeep has scratches and few dents as you might expect of a 18 year old vehicle. The power window switch is a little flakey and should probably be replaced, it works most of the time. Would make a good daily driver, or great base for an offroad Cherokee project. Jeep is in condition to pick up and drive it home any distance. Buyer is responsible for any shipping costs.
