Hey all, It's come to my attention that there is an issue with the AutoCheck on my Lincoln. In April, it was lightly rear-ended while making a right turn at a light. The rear bumper cover was damaged, left taillight cracked and left bed trim was damaged. It was purely cosmetic and I drove the vehicle home. The other drivers insurance company accepted full liability. As you probably know, parts for this vehicle are long obsolete from Ford and used parts are difficult to come by. The insurance company did not know how to proceed without available parts. Ultimately, I settled with the insurance company for a dollar amount and personally tracked down excellent condition used OEM parts from a collector in Arkansas. I picked up the parts myself and then had the vehicle professionally repaired. The rear bumper cover was repaired, left taillight replaced and the left rear bed trim piece was replaced. The condition was so good, it wasn't even repainted. I don't know how or why there is any mention of a total loss on AutoCheck, the title never left my possession and is clean and clear. I renewed the registration in late July, long after the claim closed. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to email. :) This listing is for my 2002 Lincoln Blackwood. This truck is awesome. It has just over 83k miles and is in excellent condition. I bought it last year after a long search for the best one I could find. As you probably know, there were just over 3000 total of these built between the 02-03 model year. Good examples are difficult to find these days. I wanted a 100% stock, unmodified example in great original condition. That's exactly what this Blackwood is. I bought it from the second owner in Washington state. I bought it and drove it home from Washington to Georgia. It performed flawlessly. I recently performed all the necessary maintenance. Oil change, transmission fluid & filter, air filter, fuel filter, rear differential fluid and coolant service. I replaced all 4 tires with a new set of Goodyear SRAs. I installed new brakes and hardware at all 4 corners. The engine starts easily, runs great and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts great and the truck handles and stops just like you'd expect. Mechanically it is excellent and needs nothing to drive anywhere. All this maintenance and tires/brakes have less than 500 miles on them. It passed Georgia emissions inspection in July and runs great with no warning lights, etc. The exterior and interior have been fully detailed. It was buffed and cleaned with a clay-bar treatment. There are no dents, rust or damage to the body or exterior. All the body and trim are in excellent condition. The paint has minor imperfections consistent with age, but shines nicely and still looks great. I had the leather interior fully cleaned and conditioned. Carpet and factory floor mats were cleaned and vacuumed. The vehicle is beautifully clean inside and out. Everything on this vehicle works as expected. The air-conditioned and heated seats work perfectly. The air ride is in good operating condition. The power tonneau cover works perfectly from the remote and the overhead console switch. Climate controls work great and the factoy Alpine stereo is working well. It has a 6-disc CD changer in the console. All the power options work fine and every light and switch works as expected. There are no disappointments on this vehicle. This Blackwood was factory equipped with in-dash Navigation. It all works well, but is out of date. I found and added a console insert from a base-model Blackwood that eliminated the navigation screen in exchange for a couple storage slots. Being that the navigation system is out of date, I preferred the storage. All the navigation parts are included and I'd be happy to reinstall the navigation screen before delivery if you'd prefer. It all looks and works perfectly, it's just stuck in 2003. :) All in all, this is a great example of an all original low mileage Blackwood. It includes all its factory floor mats and owners books. I have quite a bit of maintenance records. If you're looking for a clean, all original, unmodified Blackwood with low mileage, this is it. You won't find a nicer example for less money.
