Up For Sale is a beautiful 1963 Impala Super Sport, it is a 327 4 speed painted in beautiful Riverside Red. I have owned the car for almost 10 years, it is a multi trophy winning car that drives perfect. The 4 speed shifts smooth and the motor ( nom ) does not leak, smoke or has any issues.The car has power steering and power brakes, disc in the front, rear are drums. It was a quality restoration by the previous owner. The car was striped down to metal block sanded an a quality paint job done on the car.The orig. color of the car was black an white top, personally i'm glad he chose this color, it get looks everywhere it goes.When it was stripped all the window glass was removed and the frames were all rechromed,all new rubber seals, new window fuzzies. All glass is good windows roll up an down with ease. There is one small wiper scratch in the orig. windshield on passenger side.All the lights work,signal,parking,head lights,interior,the AC Delco am radio works the clock does not.The interior has new carpet an headliner, the seats dash an door panels are original with no rips or worn spots. The after market gauges were installed by previous owner an they are high quality. Even the rubber floor mats are the original an in good shape.I'm not a numbers guy so I don't have motor or transmission or rear end numbers. But this is what I do know from the mechanics that work on the car.The 4 speed is a Muncie M-20, the rear is a 3:55 open. Since I owned it I have installed front seat belts front disc brakes,an a rear sway bar an air shocks,an the Cragar 15" wheels. The tires are 205/75/15 the wheels an tires are in perfect condition.The underside is perfect no rot or patch panels it has new mufflers, the bumpers were recromed.Alot on the car is original it still has the T-3 headlights,an it still runs points an condenser,the carb was changed it's a 600cfm Edelbrock when the previous owner had it rebuilt thats when it was installed it also has an original GM Winters intake with the snow flake design. I was told that manifold came on the 340 hp vette.Last there are alot of clone SS Impalas out there this one is the real deal it has on the cowl tag the RPO Code Z3 which GM gave the SS that plus it has the machined moulding inside an out the padded dash an vinyl buckets. Not many Impala SS came from the factory with a 4 speed most are auto,which I believe makes this a much more rare SS.I don't believe that any car is perfect especially one that's 55 years old but this one is turn key an very nice looking an great running.
