This is a real barn find baby bird. The car sat in a Solana Beach California garage for over 20 years. The couple that owned the car bought it in 1962 and used it on their honeymoon and then drove it occaissonley until they just let it sit in the garage. This is a 292 ci v8 three speed with overdrive from the factory. The car decodes as a coral color exterior with black interior. The second owner confirms this and said it was painted before they bought it. The car was carefully color change and you have to delve deeply into the interior to see any evidence of the color change. We rebuilt the carb, generator, cleaned out the gas tank, changed the oil, and replaced plugs, points, condenser, cap, rotor, battery, voltage regulator, tires and the brakes. We also installed an aftermarket classic audio am/fm bluetooth radio. The car started right up and drives good. It will definitely need to be driven more. The interior was cleaned, door panels and carpet were replaced. This is a great baby bird entry level car that won't break the bank and you won't be afraid to take out on the open road and enjoy her.
