Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1967 Triumph T-120R Bonneville. I purchased this bike about a year ago. The previous owner bought it out of a large collection, so I don't know much about its history. The bike is not perfect, but it is much nicer than your average rider. It has matching frame and engine numbers. Since I have purchased the motorcycle, I have done the following: new Dunlop tires and tubes, new rear chain, 2 new Amal monobloc carburetors, new throttle cables, new British petcocks, new fuel lines and new electronic voltage regulator. Wiring appears to be original and in nice condition. The bike starts on the first kick, it runs and rides nicely, shifts smoothly, the lights and horn work as they should. After a ride the bike will leave a small spot of oil, nothing major. The speedometer has been replaced at some point and now registers 989 miles. The actual mileage is unknown. The original air filters are included in this auction. As you can see in the pictures, the paint is very nice with only minor imperfections. The original Dunlop chrome rims are also very nice. The right hand muffler has some damage to the chrome where the battery vent tube came off and some acid was spilled. The tube has been replaced. Please look at the pictures closely and ask questions. I will answer to the best of my ability. A $500 deposit via paypal is required within 48 hours of the auctions end, with the balance in cash being due at time of pickup. Any shipping arrangements is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. I will be happy to assist on my end. We are located 16 miles north of Louisville, KY. I have attached a video of the bike being started. Here's the link https://youtu.be/ez0U-JU7XJo Here is a brief summary of additional information that was requested via a question on the bike: 1. The Frame is definitely painted and not powder coated. I am not sure if original paint or not on the frame. There is no rust, just a few minor chips. 2. Unsure if this is electronic ignition or points, I have never had a need to take the points cover off. The bike starts great each time. 3. Rims are original Dunlop with just a few minor specks on them, they do not appear to have been re-chromed as the stampings are deep and crisp. Spokes are stainless. 4. Gas tank is spotless inside. It appears to be coated in a gray/silver coating. 5. Headlamp Original? - Not sure, it has a Lucas glass lens. 6. Seat - No rust in seat pan, no tears or splits in the vinyl. The foam is firm, but still pliable. The Triumph logo on the back is faded. I have added a photo of the under seat area. 7. Oil leak - Not sure, it has been sitting in the same spot for a week now and there are only 3 drops in different places. Drops, not puddles.
