Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1986 Suzuki GSXR-750 Limited Edition (in Japanese Domestic Model Specification and color scheme) Suzuki produced the gsxr750 limited edition in red Yoshimura colors only in Japan to celebrate the success of the Yoshimura racing team in the Japanese racing class. According to the January 2017 edition of Pratical Sportbike UK magazine only 150 units were produced by Suzuki in the special Yoshimura red colors..... Suzuki only produced 500 units world wide of the GSXR750 Limited Edition, homologation rules required a certain number of models to be produced by the manufacture in order to qualify for endurance and superbike racing. The Limited Edition models were equipped with many race oriented parts most notably the dry clutch system. The Japanese spec gsxr750 limited comes with a few extra features that the USA spec limited models did not have;;; Flat slide carburetors, All black ray gun exhaust (changed out for a Cyclone), Fuel gauge, City lights, Headlight kill switch, Deletion of side reflectors, Tinted turn signals.... The following parts are unique to gsxr750 limited models world wide; Dry clutch basket, Aluminum Body rear shock with remote reservoir (changed out for an Ohlins), Wider rear wheel, Larger 41mm front forks, NEAS electronic anti-dive system, Lightened counter shaft cover, Wider handlebar, Steering Damper (removed), Solo rear seat cowl and seat, Plexiglass headlight cover, Special milled finished top triple tree, Swing arm drop outs for stand(not included), Larger 310mm fully floating disc brakes. I want to be very clear about this bike because I understand some will have questions. While I have changed a few things that does not mean you can not change it back. The Yosh stickers are noninvasive and have not damaged the stock paint. Yes, this is factory stock paint that was available in Japan. I installed and recently rebuilt Ohlins shock. The forks are polished and the brake lines are SS braided. I took a risk that, in my opinion paid off, by having the wheels powder coated gold. I wanted the bike to resemble a Yosh race bike from back then. The inside clutch side cover and Yosh covers were painted. The housing for the clutch actuator is NOS. I recently purchased it, removed it from the factory packaging and installed it on this bike. This bike has been gone through very thoroughly and it is ready to ride or store to admire. Walk around video of it while running https://youtu.be/QhtKoaZ9yx0 If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. U.S. and International bidders are welcome to bid on this motorcycle but must arrange shipping themselves...
