The 2008 K1200LT is one of the best touring bikes you can buy. She is a lovely Blue and Gray. She starts and runs as new. I use only the BMW synthetic oil. Bob's BMW has done the service on her. I have added the Ohlin's shocks, the Navigator III GPS, the Russell Day Long saddle, and the highway pegs to the bike. She is great on long runs. We have done 800 mile days together. We have been to the west coast twice, and had to suffer one long hail storm together. I do use the cruise control on the interstates it is easier on the right wrist... I use Bridgestone tires. They are great in the wet (and hail storms). Other folks like Metzler's... The bike has an electric windshield, so it can be adjusted to the height you desire, Included are the standard windshield and a short windshield. I am also including the regular seat if you do not like the day long saddle. Also included is a Bike cover. She is kept under cover most of the time. Finally, included are three RKA bags custom sized for the luggage compartments. The left bag includes a FULL toolset, an emergency kit, a tire patch kit and tire inflator.
