EXCEPTIONAL 2001 SILVERADO EXTENDED CAB IN ONYX BLACKThis black beauty has been meticulously cared for and only driven in the best of weather for 45,351 original miles.The Silverado was built at the G.M. plant with $4,309 in optional equipment ( please see the picture of the window build sheet ) The only thing the happy new owner will need to do is give their new truck a bath after shipping. HISTORYThe Silverado was cared for by the original owner in Lynchburg Virginia until he traded for a brand new truck from GR Chevrolet - a Nelson group dealership in Bassett Virginia. I flew down and bought his truck at the dealership on 4/19/13 and drove it back to Massachusetts. Shortly after approximately 3 months a family crises arose that required me to retire and prepair my truck for storage. I only brought it out of storage once a year to get the annual inspection sticker, So You Are Basically Bidding On A One Owner Driven Silverado. UPGRADESI immediately did some preventative maintenance based on a GM report no. 1962218 / PIP4118 (This report document is included in the paperwork that will accompany the vehicle ) The report stated that a Transfer Case Pump upgrade needed to be made for all 1998-2007 GM Transfer Cases. I had an improved pump assembly designed by Merchant Automotive installed to eliminate this TRANSFER CASE PUMP RUB from ever becoming an issue in the future. (The box and the old pump will be delivered with the truck.)I also immediately converted the fluids to Amzoil 100% Synthetic Signature Series lubrication Complete Transmission And Torque Converter Fluid Power Flush And Filter Change. Engine Oil And Amzoil Filter Change.Permanent Amzoil Air Filter Element.Amzoil Chassis Lubrication. ( this year still has fittings that can be greased.)Amzoil products are expensive, but comparison testing with other high end lubricants have proven Amzoil to be superior.
