Vehicle Detail
This rare 1941 Series 67 Cadillac was a Museum car for many years. THIS CAR WAS ONLY PRODUCED BY CADILLAC FOR TWO YEARS! It was put into driving service and used regularly until recently when I decided to sell it. I have too many cars and not enough time. The Florida registration and insurance is current on the car. The motor is rock solid--It performs as Cadillac intended it to in 1941. It doesn't burn or leak oil, smoke, or make any funny noises. The manual transmission shifts flawlessly and goes into each gear without grinding or other difficulty. It does not leak either. The lights all work, along with all the gauges. The rear divider window even goes up and down as it should, albeit not as fast as it did when it was new! The windows are all manual and all the cranks work as they should. The car was a radio delete car, but I have a proper radio and set up for this car if you want to put an original radio in it (I will have to charge an additional fee for this.) Tires are good driver quality tires and are not dry-rotted. I have rear bumber guards that have been replated, but not installed at this time. They will go with the car at no additional cost. Brakes are sound and the car can be driven with confidence. Although the rear headliner has not been pictured, it is in very good shape with no rips or tears--The driver's compartment was originally done in leather and is original to the car. The driver compartment headliner does have a tear in it. The rear compartment seats and door panels are in above average shape for its age, with little wear. The original interior wood trim also is in above average shape for its age. The exhaust is in better than average condition, the suspension system holds the road nicely, and the body is straight. The paint is useable, but I would strip the car and repaint it if I keep it. The body is free of ANY FILLER! The paint and body work on this car is an easy task as it is so straight and there is little chrome to remove. The floors and trunk are solid from what I can see inside and underneath the car. The original rear rubber stone guards were brittle and disintegrated a couple years ago and I have not purchased new ones (they are available as most parts for this car are!) International buyers must complete financial transaction and make all shipping arrangements on their own. I can only assist with local loading. I WILL NOT TRAVEL TO LOAD THIS CAR. I found the fender skirts for this car today! I also located a couple of other items that will go with the car. The fender skirts are hard to find and are expensive. I AM OPEN TO REASONABLE OFFERS--PLEASE DON'T HESISTATE TO CONTACT ME. On Sep-12-18 at 20:58:14 PDT, seller added the following information: THIS A RARE CHANCE TO OWN A NICE PREWAR CADILLAC! THIS CAR WAS ONLY MADE IN 1941 AND 1942. MOST COLLECTORS HAVE NEVER OWNED ONE OF THESE. NOT A SERIES 75! BID WITH CONFIDENCE TO OWN A PIECE OF CADILLAC HISTORY.
