Vehicle Detail

A very special vehicle, this beauty rolled off the Wixom Michigan Lincoln Auto assembly line on June 20, 1963- a special order destined for the Lincoln dealership in Los Angeles California. The car remained in California until 2003 when I purchased it for $32,000 and had it shipped to my home in Florida. It was used in my wedding for our drive after the ceremony and thus holds a special place in our hearts. The car is a very original vehicle. I had it appraised 4 years ago for $40,000 to $42,000 and it has been insured by Hagerty for that. Sadly I must part with this dream car as I just don’t have the time to put into it anymore. I will do my best to provide as detailed info as I can and of course more info gladly for anyone wishing to ask questions. The car is "Polynesian Gold” with a gorgeous tan interior with darker piping. The dash is in perfect condition with no cracks at all. The interior looks wonderful and little is needed. The car rides on new BF Goodrich tubeless tires from Coker Tires that match the originals- only about 50 miles put on since they were installed. The odometer reads: 28,966 miles. The car does need a new top as this one is finally beginning to show signs of rot. The top mechanism was totally redone about 4 years ago. As of the last time I drove it two years ago, the car runs fine but does need a tune up and the coolant system flushed. The battery has died as it has been sitting in my garage for the last two years. Everything on the car works as it should including the power antenna, factory AC (although needs coolant), power windows, power vent windows, power steering, power seat, all lights etc. 1963 was the last year for the much desired curved side windows and they look marvelous on this car. The chrome on the exterior of the car looks great and is not bent. The car is not rusty and is very straight. It is just in need of someone who can complete the light resto work needed to put it into top shape. There is a spot on the passenger rear quarter panel that needs to be touched up but overall the paint looks very good. I know of NO bondo or other shortcuts used as this car was taken care of well for many years. As I previously stated, the car has set undriven for the last two years so I cannot vouch for anything beyond what I noticed last time I drove the car. With kids going into High School, my dream with this car has taken a backseat to more immediate priorities so instead of investing more, I am looking to give someone else a chance at this special vehicle. This is a great opportunity for the right person. I offer it here for well below what I paid for it and certainly much less than what I have put into it and with NO Reserve! The car is sold "AS IS" with NO warranty and buyer is responsible for picking up the car or any shipping. A $1,000 deposit is needed within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Serious Buyers ONLY please. Selling this car is painful enough- I just hope it brings joy to the new owner and is well taken care of. It is rare indeed to see a car like this and this special color. She is a real head turner.
