Hello, Up for sale is my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD. THIS IS A TWO WHEEL DRIVE TRUCK. RWD ONLY. (4X4 stickers were only placed on the truck to get by Caltrans snow chain stations). It use to be my daily driver for years, but I have since purchased more vehicles, so all it does is sit these days. This is the second time I've tried to sell the truck, so besides the FIRST pic, the other pics are from the first time I posted the truck over a year ago. The listing pic was just taken today. The truck now has new Mickey Thompson 37" tires, new headlight assemblys and a bed shell I acquired for it. The shell is meant for a king cab Silverado, so the gap is A LITTLE off, because I found out later, crew cabs slope forward in the rear, unlike king, or regular cabs which are flat in the rear. Here is a list of mods and extras the truck has - 8" California Sport Truck (CST) suspension lift kit, K&N cold air intake kit, flex-a-lite electric engine fans, Edelbrock remote reservoir HD shocks, rear firestone air bags, 3/4 ton Deaver 6" arched leaf springs, 2 inch lift blocks in the rear to achieve 8" lift, reese titan 2.5 inch rear hitch, reinforced (boxed) rear frame, curt 2" front hitch, (2) frame mounted Viair 330c air compressors with 4 gallon air tank, cognito upper control arms, fabtech HD tie rods, moto metal 20" wheels, pioneer cd/DVD. I have owned the truck for 11 years, and it has always gotten religious Mobil 1 oil changes every 4 to 5 thousand miles. The transmission was gone through and freshened up around 12000 miles ago, because the trans cooler, that is normally located inside the radiator, failed, so the transmission had coolant in it, and the engine had trans fuild in the cooling system. Everything was fixed, trans rebuilt with shift kit, new radiator, new HD remote transmission cooler (no longer inline with the radiator), new engine hoses. Now, getting to the elephant in the room, the engine has 478 thousand miles on it, but it honestly does still run great, and I definitely wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long trip if I needed to. The truck has ALWAYS been reliable to me, and has never left me stranded. With all that being said, let's be honest, with it having 478 thousand miles, it's probably time to start planning on a engine swap. It still has plenty of power, but it's definitely not like it was when I first got the truck 11 years ago. The bed has some dings and damage, as shown in the pictures, and the windshield has a rock strike in the center (i tried to get the best pic I could of the chip). Thanks!On Aug-28-18 at 17:36:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I went through the truck today to remove my belongings, and saw that i failed to mention, that the drivers seat arm rest (built into the side of the seat) is missing. A weld in the seatback failed years ago, so it was taken apart and re-welded, but the armrest never did get put back on. I never really missed it, because the center console is RIGHT THERE to put your arm on anyway...but i did feel the buyer needs to know. You can probably guess the drivers seat is not in perfect condition anyway...its ok...but like the engine, it too has alot of miles on it.Also, i forgot to mention, that the truck also has drilled and slotted rotors on all 4 wheels with EBC 'green stuff' brake pads...the truck stops exceptionally well considering the tire size. And it also has a B&M Extra Deep aluminum tramsmission pan. If i happen to see, or think of ANYTHING else, ill be sure to revise ASAP...but i'm pretty sure thats it.
