Sorry, I have to start off with some rules. There is a $250 deposit due through PayPal within 48 hours. Until that deposit is made, I will not discuss anything. After 48 hours, if no deposit is made, the sale will be cancelled because of a non paying buyer. Once the deposit is made, we can exchange info and discuss a convenient time to pick up the Blazer. Don't bid any amount that is higher than what you are willing to pay. Assume the worst and hope for the best, then bid. If there is something you are worried about, or need to know about, ask me...BEFORE YOU BID. This is not craigslist or a classified ad, I am not willing to haggle the winning bid, you placing a bid is you saying you will pay that amount. If you try to get me to accept less than your winning bid, the sale will be cancelled due to a non paying buyer. I will not end the auction early, don't ask. Now, to the actual item for sale, below is my original description from the first time I listed the blazer. I have added some things to the end of the description to hopefully clear some things up. I also changed a few of the pictures from the last time, so if you want to see a couple of different pics search the completed auctions and look at the last listing. 1 of 4935 Blazers produced in their first year of production. I bought this in 1997, but only drove it for about 4 years, it has sat out in a pasture for the last 17 years. Always intended to show it some love, but never got to it. Finally acknowledging the fact that I'm not going to do anything with it. It's a big project, but if you want a 1st year Blazer, here it is. This one started with a straight six from the factory but has had a GM v8 dropped in it at some point in time. Edelbrock intake manifold and a quadrajet on top of it. The motor is not frozen, I hooked up a battery and it turned over. It ran fine when I parked it. Mice and the elements have had their way with everything over the past 17 years, so a few hoses are chewed off and holes filled with mud dobber nests. I'm not positive, but I'm assuming the 4 speed manual transmission and transfer case are original. Look to be a SM465 and a Dana 20. Also assuming the axles are original, 12 bolt rear and dana 44 in the front. It has a single wall top in good shape. All glass is good. SPID label is on glovebox door, but is mostly too faded to read. Flywheel dust cover is falling off and front diff is leaking. May not mean much after sitting, but I had a new exhaust and rear brakes put on while I was driving it. The gas tank will need replaced and there is no battery included. Odometer reads 90722. The title is in hand and in my name. I was told when I bought it that a restoration had been done on it around 1990. Looks like bondo was a big part of that project. The front fenders, hood and tailgate are in pretty good shape without much rust. Most of the rest of the body is missing, rusty or bondo. Passenger side hood hinge is broken. Four tires and one wheel were rotted away, I replaced those with something that will hold air so it can be rolled around without trouble. Ask questions before bidding, see pictures, ask for more if you want to see something specific. Please don't bid unless you have the funds and intent to buy. Do not send me a message asking me what I will take to end the auction early, I won't. I am listing this because it is fairly rare, and there may be someone out there that just has to have a 1969 Blazer. If you just want the '69-'72 body style, I'm sure you can find one in better shape to start your project. TRAILER IS NOT INCLUDED. The Blazer will be off the trailer when you or your shipper shows up to get it. I will not help with shipping. On Aug-18-18 at 14:46:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had several people ask about the front seats, it has been brought to my attention that they are most likely from a 73 or later, so, not original. ***Okay, for the relisting I will try to clear some things up. The front seats are NOT original to this blazer. The question was asked to me several times the first time it was listed, hence the reason I added info to the description on 8/18, before the 4 highest bidders placed their bids. The front seats and console are from a 1973 or later Blazer. I am not sure about the origin of the rear seat. The motor is NOT original. It came with an inline 6 cylinder, this is a GM V8. The floor pans are mostly gone, they had been patched before. It was repainted when a restoration attempt was made in the late 80s. Again, please, if something is important enough to determine what you would pay for the Blazer, and you are not sure, ask me to help clarify.
