WITH JUST UNDER 120,000 MILES, THIS LX470 HAS A TON OF POTENTIAL TO OFFER ITS NEW OWNER WHETHER IT IS KEPT STOCK OR MODIFIED.Just like the 100 Series Land Cruiser, this Lexus LX470 is powered by Toyota’s VVT-i 4.7 L 2UZ-FE V8 producing 275hp backed by the reliable 5-speed A750F automatic transmission.Rust is a non-issue with this particular LX470. Both the body and the chassis are in very nice shape with no signs of corrosion. The exterior Black Onyx finish shows very well with only minor scratches and a couple subtle dings. The clear coat shines well with no signs of peeling or fading. The plastic metallic gray cladding is in excellent condition with no warping or fading and is flush with the body. All body panels, running boards, mud flaps and other finishes are intact and free from cracks.The interior of this LX has been well cared for and contains all factory installed equipment. The seats are complete with no rips, tears, or major cracking. Staining is minor, the majority is found around the driver’s seat from normal wear on the floor mat. The carpets under the factory Lexus embroidered mats are in excellent condition. This was not a smoker’s vehicle and contains no odors or damages due to ashes and smoke.All interior electronics function including the Navigation System, DVD, CD/MP3, AM/FM radio, power windows and locks, moonroof, power mirrors, antenna, wipers, lights, heated seats, cold A/C, heat as well as an aftermarket USB input module in which you can connect any current smartphone.The chassis of this LX470 is a rarity in New England. The entire underside including the inner body panels have been treated with an oil-based undercoating. After inspection and after removing some of the undercoating, it was discovered the original chassis paint covers nearly every inch of the frame rails, crossmembers, skid plates and axles. Great effort went into keeping this LX470 free from rust and that effort has definitely paid off.Mechanics, which is what these LX470s are known for, are in excellent condition. The engine starts, idles and drives very well. The 5-speed automatic shift smoothly and the all-wheel-drive high/low transfer case with center lock functions perfectly. This LX470 is also equipped with Adjustable Height Control (AHC) suspension, which operates flawlessly through all levels.Within the last 100 miles this LX470 has received the timing belt service, which included water pump, timing belt, idler and tensioner bearings, gaskets, thermostat and coolant flush. Fresh synthetic oil and filter change was completed bringing this Lexus completely up to date on all scheduled service. In addition to the above, both front wheel bearing were repacked and torqued to the proper specifications. Front rotors, pads and calipers were also recently replaced. The Michelin LTX AT2 treads have just over 50% wear left and are free come cracks, patches or any other imperfections.The Maine State Safety Inspection is valid through August 2019.
