For sale is a beautiful 1972 Chevelle SS tribute with a full frame off restoration in the winter of 2016. This Chevelle has its frame & suspension powder coated. A newly rebuilt 462 CI Big Block - 491 HP - hydraulic roller motor (balanced and blueprinted) was completed in the winter of 2017. This is a factory air car with all upgraded components from Classic Auto Air. A newly rebuilt TH400 automatic transmission with 2000 RPM torque converter was completed in April of this year. A 12 bolt 3.55 posi rear end with new axles and bearings was rebuilt in spring of 2017. Boxed control arms and oversize sway bars in the front and rear make this fast car ride like a new car and stop with precision. This Chevelle also has stainless steel brake and fuel lines. 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaust with "X" crossover pipe help this Chevelle sound mean and lets people know when you are driving by. Comes with new front disc and rear drum brakes. Full SS interior including dash, gages and center console along with perfect factory #75 Cranberry Red paint with black SS stripes. This is the perfect muscle car for any occasion whether you are cruising around town, going to a car show, or at the track. This Chevelle is FAST and sounds the part of a true performance machine. The paint on this car is show quality, no scratches or chips. The gaps are perfect from the doors to the hood and trunk. This car has always been babied, only driven occasionally on nice days, always covered when in the garage, and stored in the winter in a temperature-controlled garage. The car was purchased two years ago and since we have put close to $16,000 in the engine, transmission, and rear end alone (we have receipts for all upgrades in the last two years).
