I purchased this little bike, for my wife, right here on Ebay, May 22nd 2016. My hopes were, that we could get a his and hers thing going, and take them with us when we traveled in our trailer. After winning the auction, I made the four and a half hour drive to the beautiful beach city of Dana Point, and picked up the bike. The wife rode it a bit, and decided that she is not comfortable riding by herself, and prefers to ride passenger on a larger bike. So,,,into the garage and under a cover it went, needing new tires and a fuel petcock to stop an annoying little gas leak. Fast forward two years,,,I decided that I am either going to sell it, or I am going to ride the little thing myself. Either way, the tires and gas leak had to go. As things always go, one thing lead to another, and I did a lot more work on the bike than I first set out to do, but it is something I enjoy doing, and like I said earlier, if nobody out there wants it, I will be riding it myself. The tires are Michelin City Pro's, the inner tubes were replaced as well. Brakes checked and cleaned. The carburetor was removed disassembled and cleaned. The float needle, fuel pet cock, bowl gasket and pilot air screw replaced. The air filter was replaced. The air filter housing had cracks in the tabs that connect the two halves together. The tabs were repaired using a two part epoxy and small hose clamp on each (pictured). The fuel tank was removed and cleaned (no liner used), new rubber gasket on the gas cap. Fuel lines were replaced. New genuine Honda cables on the front brake, throttle, and speedometer. New after market head light and tail light. Every other light bulb on the bike was replaced. The drive chain was cleaned and lubricated. Instaled a new sealed bike master AGM battery. I added the basket on the front, and the center rack to make the bike more practical for running errands, or commuting to work or school. The horn was replaced with a genuine Honda unit, and the rear view mirrors are new after market. All in all, this is a very clean little bike. Starts easily, shifts as it should, stops fine. Zero to thirty five with my 235 lbs on it surprisingly fast. Fun little bike that needs someone to ride it. The opening bid price, is my reserve, and is less than what I have into the bike as it sits now.
