Up for auction is my 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT, a vehicle I acquired from the original family who purchased it in 1987. The vehicle remained with the same family, two brothers, until my purchase and was driven seasonally then parked a year and half ago and left under a tarp. 75k original miles, vehicle retains all the original body panels, GT rims, interior components, sunroof and glass, expect for the driver's side rear, I replaced it due to a crack. Vehicle came from the factory without power steering or the rear wing, original owners indicated vehicle was ordered that way. Upon my purchase, vehicle was inspected by a mechanic and after a new battery, she started right up and I've been driving it since. I've completed the following mechanical service: Oil ChangeFluids checked/topped offreplaced the tiresnew beltsO2 sensorsIntake gasketfixed a vacuum leakbrakes were inspected--pads are thick and system operates correctly. Vehicle runs and drives smooth, front end is tight, suspension is good, no check engine lights and both pop up head lights work--if you know Fiero's, to get two head lights that actually work is a miracle. A/C does not work, condenser clicks on, but no cold air comes out--I do not plan to diagnose or repair. Temperature gauge is inoperative--common issue that you can fix if it bothers you, coolant system is operating correctly. Paint is faded with some patina from being stored under a tarp outside and could use some touch up--see photos. This is not a project car or a candidate for parts. Vehicle is a clean, solid running original unit that is mechanically sound and could use some minor touch up on the paint. Local pick up or you can arrange your own transport. I will not deliver, but will cooperate with what ever arrangements you make for transport or pick up.
