Triumph Spitfire 1500 This is a great example of the British classic 1500 and is perfect for a summer fun car. Strong engine starts first time, even after winter storage. Rust free body and chassis.Wooden dash is in great condition, no chips, cracks sun damage Pros: New Carpets and new soft top (4 years) & cargo rack. Seat Belts added. 4 X 5Kmiles white wall tires New alternator. Drives great. Zero rust in doors, floor panels, arches, usual suspects Cons: Driver seat cover has a come apart at the rear seam (12”). Is repairable. Speedo & rev counter don’t start working until about 5 miles into a journey. Why? Lucas electrics, that’s why. Fuel gauge not working. New replacement float included (just haven’t had time to replace). The red paint isn’t original and was cheaply done. Its beginning to show age in spots and has some chips. Still look good.
