*please do not bid on this car if you do not have the means to pay for it. The bank will not give you a loan for this car (unless it's a personal loan), so having the means to buy it means having the money.* This is a 2006 AMG slk55. It was one of 1297 cars that were imported with the factory V8 option. The factory motormoto removed, and I had a kleemann Supercharged motor installed by amg certified shop Eurotech of Indian Trail NC. The motor has Kleemann short tube headers with v-band clamps. They are 3 in internal diameter. The exhaust is tig welded 3 inch internal diameter t-304 stainless steel. The supercharger has a separates cooling system which runs through a heat exchanger. It is running very low boost (2-3 psi) with a very conservative tune making 440/441 who/wtq. the motor has approximately 5,000 miles on it since installation. I have all the paperwork from when the motor was installed. anything that was ever done to the car was done at a dealership or Eurotech and was documented. It has a brand new set of K & N filters in it.The transmission was also tuned by kleemann. It is a paddle shifted 7-speed automatic. There are some videos of the car available on YouTube. If you type in "Corbin Thomas slk55" you will find one.you can also type in "demonstrating the convertible top on my amg slk55."And you can find one if you type in "removing the wing from my slk55." Here is a list of all the blemishes and Imperfections of the car.-The back tires are bald -the passenger side side skirt has a crack in it where I went over a speed bump too fast.-the paint has several imperfections in it. It was not an expensive paint job, and it was never cut, buffed, or polished after it was sprayed.-the passenger seat is gone.-the headlights are a can bus system and I tried to plug in LED headlights which did not work. I don't know what type of bulbs you will need for a can bus system, but the headlights are currently not working. -the car sat outside for 2 years, so there are minor imperfections that are are typical with a car that has sat outside for 2 years. Please do not hesitate to reach out and ask any questions about the car. I have tried to be completely forthcoming with any thing that is wrong with the car. I have been selling things on eBay for almost 20 years, and I have Flawless feedback which I intend to keep. If you cannot afford to pay for the car please do not bid on the car. You would think that would be common sense, but apparently not. There is an additional fuel pump working in tandem with the in tank pump. The supercharger has a separate cooling system which runs spare coolantcoolant a heat exchanger. All of the steering wheel controls work with it.It has a brand new set of K & N filters in it.The transmission was also tuned by kleemann. It is a paddle shifted 7-speed automatic. It shares the same paddles as the SLR and E63.I gave Nick at Eurotech $13,100 cash, AND a built bug eye Impreza with 380 whp in exchange for the installation of motor, exhaust, fuel system, transmission work, and Kleemann tunes. I had $13,000 in the Impreza. That's why I have said I had $26,000 in the drivetrain of this car before. (Where it one second in the European division)-the passenger seat is gone.-the headlights are a can bus system and I tried to plug in LED headlights which did not work. I don't know what type of bulbs you will need for a can bus system, but the headlights are currently not working. -the car has been sitting so the battery needs to be charged. I jump-started it last week, and it seemed to hold a charge.-the car sat outside for 2 years, so there are minor imperfections that are are typical with a car that has sat outside for 2 years. It needs a deep cleaning to get all the leaves and pollen out of the cracks.-the car needs to have somebody fix the crack in the side skirt, and respray a couple of areas. A cut/buff/polish job would do wonders. I want people to be fully educated about this car before bidding. It is a very special car, and I don't want anybody not knowing exactly what you are bidding on. Please do not hesitate to reach out and ask any questions about the car. I have tried to be completely forthcoming with any small thing that is wrong with the car. I have been selling things on eBay for almost 20 years, and I have Flawless feedback which I intend to keep. Whoever buys this car is going to know exactly what they are buying, and they will be extremely happy with their purchase. I am taking a great deal of effort to produce this auction and answer questions for people. Please be respectful and realize there are people bidding on this car who have every intention of paying for it. If you do not intend on actually buying the car please do not bid. If you cannot afford to pay for the car please do not bid on the car. (You would think that would be common sense, but apparently not nowadays.) I know of some good shipping companies, and I will be happy to put the car on a truck and send it to you. You will be responsible for shipping payment. I would prefer that you come pick the car up in person. I accept cash, bank certified check, Bitcoin, gold/silver. I will be meeting the buyer at the bank where we will notarize the title and deposit the money to my account. I've been selling stuff online for 20 years, that being said I will not ship the car without payment, and I will not take any strange form of payment.
